There are 3 main ways to arrive at La Paz. You can fly in, you can Drive in, or you can catch a boat from mainland Mexico:
You can fly into Los Cabos and take a shuttle to La Paz (most of the fishing outfits will pick you up at the airport and shuttle you here). You can also use the CBX Bridge in the San Diego - Tijuana border to fly directly to La Paz. La Paz is also home to an International Airport with some flights coming in mainly from the United States and several domestic flights connecting with major airports in Mexico.
If you’re in Los Cabos, it’s a short drive north to La Paz via the Trans-Peninsular Highway. If you are driving in from the United States-Mexico Border, it is a straight two-day drive south down the Trans-Peninsular Highway, full of natural splendor.
Boat owners can cruise into La Paz along the Sea of Cortez. From the Mainland, you can take a Ferry from either Mazatlan or Topolobampo.
